While we are confident you will love your purchase, we understand that sometimes a return may be necessary. This Returns Policy explains your rights and obligations when returning an item. Please read it carefully before initiating a return.


1. Return Eligibility Period

You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return. This period begins on the day your package is delivered to the shipping address you provided during checkout. If the 14th day falls on a weekend or public holiday, you may submit your return request on the next business day. Any return request submitted after this 14‑day window will not be accepted, and the items will be sent back to you at your expense.

To be eligible for a return, your Laurent Hompes items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as when you received them. All original tags, labels, and hang tags must still be attached. The product must also be returned in its original packaging, including any dust bags, boxes, or protective wrapping that came with the item.

2. Non‑Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain categories of products cannot be returned. The following items are final sale and non‑returnable:

  • Underwear, socks, and swimwear (if the hygienic liner has been removed or the item shows signs of being worn)
  • Earrings and other pierced jewelry
  • Face masks and other personal protective accessories
  • Gift cards and digital vouchers
  • Items marked as “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Non‑Returnable” on the product page

If you receive a non‑returnable item that is defective or damaged, please refer to the “Damaged or Defective Items” section below. Otherwise, these items cannot be returned for any reason, including change of mind.

3. How to Initiate a Return

All returns must be initiated through the automated return portal on laurenthompes.com. To begin the process:

  1. Log into your account on laurenthompes.com.
  2. Go to “Order History” and select the order containing the Laurent Hompes item(s) you wish to return.
  3. Click the “Request Return” button and follow the on‑screen instructions.
  4. Select the item(s) you are returning and indicate the reason for return (e.g., wrong size, changed mind, defective, etc.).
  5. Submit your request. You will receive an automated confirmation with further instructions.

You will then be provided with a return authorization number and detailed instructions for sending your item back. Do not send any item back before receiving a return authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be processed and may be discarded or returned to you at your expense.

4. Condition of Returned Items

We inspect every returned Laurent Hompes product carefully. To qualify for a refund or exchange, the item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • No visible signs of wear, including makeup, deodorant, perfume, or pet hair
  • No stains, tears, odors, or alterations
  • All original tags and labels attached exactly as they were when shipped
  • Original packaging included and undamaged
  • No missing parts (e.g., buttons, belts, laces)

If the returned item shows signs of use, damage, or missing tags, we reserve the right to deny the return and send the item back to you. In some cases, we may accept the return but issue a partial refund based on the diminished value of the item. You will be notified of our decision through the website’s messaging system.

5. Refund Process

Once we receive your returned Laurent Hompes item(s) at our fulfillment center, we will inspect them within 5–7 business days. After the inspection is complete, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.). Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to display the refund on your statement. This can take anywhere from 3 to 10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

If your return is rejected (e.g., item shows wear or missing tags), we will not issue a refund. The item may be returned to you if you provide a valid shipping address, or it may be disposed of after 30 days if you do not respond to our notification.

6. Partial Refunds

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for different sizes or colors. Because inventory of Laurent Hompes items is limited and changes quickly, the best way to get a different size or style is to:

  2. Wait for your return to be processed and your refund issued.

9. Return Status and Notifications

  • Return authorization approved
  • Return received at our facility
  • Refund approved or rejected
  • Refund issued

All notifications will appear in your account dashboard and via the messaging system on our website. We do not send these notifications by phone, email, or live chat.

10. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have returned an item and received confirmation that your refund was approved, but the refund has not appeared in your account after 10 business days, please check with your bank or credit card provider first. Sometimes there is a processing delay before the refund is posted. If you have done this and your refund is still missing, you may submit an inquiry through the automated help form on laurenthompes.com. Include your order number and return authorization number. We will investigate and provide a resolution through the website’s messaging system.

11. Unauthorized Returns

Do not send any item back to us without first obtaining a return authorization number. Any package sent without a visible return authorization label on the outside will be considered unauthorized. Unauthorized returns may be rejected, discarded, or returned to you at your expense. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to identify an unauthorized return or process a refund for it.

12. International Returns

Returning an item from outside the country of our fulfillment center is possible, but please be aware that customs procedures may apply. You are responsible for correctly labeling your return package and for complying with all export regulations. We recommend that you mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional customs fees. If a returned international package is held by customs or returned to you due to incorrect paperwork, we will not be able to process your refund until the item reaches us in acceptable condition.

13. Final Sale Items

Items purchased during clearance events or marked as “Final Sale” on the product page are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, even if they are within the 14‑day period. This policy applies to change of mind, wrong size, and minor fit issues. The only exception is if the final sale item arrives damaged or defective, in which case you may submit a claim as described in Section 7.
