All orders undergo a processing period before they are handed over to the shipping carrier. This processing typically includes quality inspection, secure packing, and label generation.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays observed at our fulfillment locations. Orders placed after the daily cut-off time (as indicated on the website during checkout) will begin processing on the next business day. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been successfully processed and is ready for dispatch.
Please note that processing time is separate from shipping time. During promotional events, new product launches, or peak seasonal periods, processing may take slightly longer. We will always display any expected delays on the banner of laurenthompes.com.
2. Shipping Methods and Carriers

All domestic shipments require a physical street address. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided during checkout. If a domestic package is returned to us due to an address error, we will notify you through your registered account. Any re-shipment will be subject to additional handling procedures.
4. International Shipping

Some remote locations may experience longer delays. Please be aware that you are the importer of record for your order. Therefore, you are responsible for complying with all local import laws, and for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees. laurenthompes.com does not calculate or collect these fees at checkout. If you refuse an international shipment because of unexpected duties or taxes, the package may be abandoned or destroyed. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed.
5. Tracking Your Order
Every order from laurenthompes.com comes with a tracking service. Once your Laurent Hompes items have been dispatched, you will receive an automated email containing:

6. Shipping Restrictions

7. Failed Delivery Attempts and Unclaimed Packages
It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the shipment or to arrange for a safe delivery location if local carrier policies allow. Most carriers will make at least two delivery attempts. If the driver cannot deliver the package because no authorized recipient is present, a delivery notice may be left.
If you do not retrieve your package from the local carrier depot or post office within the holding period (typically 5–14 days), the shipment will be returned to our facility. In the event of a returned package due to failure to claim or provide secure access, any re-shipment will incur additional fees. Refunds for unclaimed Laurent Hompes products will be processed only after the return is received and inspected, and original shipping charges will not be refunded.
8. Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a shipment is marked as “Delivered” by the carrier, the responsibility for the package transfers to the buyer. laurenthompes.com cannot be held liable for lost or stolen packages that have been confirmed delivered to the correct address. However, we encourage you to check with neighbors, building management, or your local carrier depot if you cannot locate a delivered package.
In the rare event that a package is lost in transit before the “Delivered” status (e.g., tracking shows no movement for 15 consecutive business days past the expected delivery window), you may submit a lost package claim via the automated portal on our website. We will investigate with the carrier. If the carrier confirms the loss, we will either issue a refund or send a replacement of the same Laurent Hompes product(s), subject to availability.
9. Damaged in Transit
Although we pack every Laurent Hompes item with protective materials, transit damage can occasionally occur. If your order arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging or the contents, you must document the damage immediately. Take clear photos of the box, the internal padding, and the damaged product(s). Then, within 48 hours of delivery, use the designated “Report Damage” form on laurenthompes.com to submit your claim.
Failure to report damage within 48 hours may limit our ability to assist you. For damaged items, we never issue a refund without photographic evidence and an approved claim. Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement or a partial refund. Original shipping costs are not refundable for damaged items unless the damage rendered the entire order unusable.
10. Changes to Shipping Address
Once an order is placed, we begin the packing process very quickly. If you realize you entered an incorrect shipping address, please log into your account immediately and check if the order status is still “Processing.” If it is, you may be able to edit the address through the self-service option. If the status has changed to “Dispatched,” the address cannot be modified.
laurenthompes.com is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrectly provided address. Any reshipment to a corrected address will be at your own expense.
11. Split Shipments
If your order contains multiple Laurent Hompes items, they may occasionally ship from different inventory locations. In such cases, your order may arrive in separate packages on different days. You will receive a separate dispatch email and tracking number for each shipment. No additional shipping charges will apply for split shipments beyond what you paid at checkout.
